● Add 2% more drier.

● When the ink absorbency of paper
is excessively high, it may cause chalking because the vehicle penetrates into the paper too fast before pigment setting on the paper surface.

● Slow ink drying due to too much distribution of dampening water.

● Slow ink drying due to improper conditioning of temperature and humidity.

● Adjust the distribution of dampening water to avoid slow ink drying.

● Cost the prints with overprint varnish.
